Cult Following is a creative storytelling card game. Players take on the role of either Cultists or Recruits. Cultists take ideas from the deck and bind them together into a ridiculous story, which they pitch to the other players. Recruits ask questions from the cards to help them figure out which cult is right for them.
We love our game. Friends who have played have become devoted followers. We believe that if you try it out you will love it too, so we're offering a limited demo copy as a free print-on-demand download, for everyone!
We love games that let players be creative and tell their own stories rather than being limited by the contents of a box - games that you and your friends will be talking about for months afterwards. After almost a year of developing and playing this game, our friends, family and local enthusiasts who have playtested with us have plenty of memories to share. Chris's “Vampire Wrestling League”, Nathan's “Friends of Science”, and Ben's mathematical “Cult of all cults” are still sources of laughter, pride, and controversy months later.
Cult Following is ready to go whenever your friends are. There's no setup or preparation and it can be played anywhere in about 30 minutes, although our sessions usually last for a few hours. We’ll even throw is a few pre-made cults to get you going!
